Transformational Spirituality — East and West

in Blossoming of Pearls

Yoga Philosophy (Sutras) of Patanjali…

I wrote on my FB page, which was offered yesterday 2/10/18 as a soulful narrative that perhaps one may wish to consider. My take on this notion of continuity of past life memories is true in which consciousness acts as a mirror effect reflecting emotional, psychological and spiritual values, if you will and that as we may act as an observer to witnessing through a calm mind. This will allow us to discern this value to go deeper into the practice and to reflect from a lens of stillness to mind, in finding answers to many questions come to equanimity.
By calming the nervous system, one may come to purify patterns of the past, come to the surface of these past behaviors [endeavors- karmas] to self-awareness or mindfulness to witness one’s process of integrating and knowing the souls’ journey. It’s like opening your own book to a personal [National Geographic society] if you will. This is the only way to reach some understanding to one’s knowledge to self via opening to one’s book [Akasha] and by researching your own book of the past in the first place come to acquire the hidden pearls, your own…

The key here is to clearing the mind stuff to allow stillness of mind to occur. Moreover, during one’s practice of meditation, the experiences to insight have become increasingly available due to the seriousness to one’s practice opening (Smrti consciousness or memory) which suggest that from lifetime to another lifetime one retains memories of recent or distant experiences one can detect via meditation. It is in this self-inquiry that offers us various facets or aspects to our character or personality speak to a number of carryover patterns of life events which overlap many lifetimes afterlife experiences into one within consciousness.

Smrti-Sadhana: Patanjali offers this:

Smrti—Memory or repeated recollection is the principal item in devotional practice. This practice may be termed Smrti-Sadhana. It consists in recalling the feeling experienced at the time of contemplating a subject and in feeling that is being remembered and will be remembered. When this is achieved memory is retained firmly in the mind which is the only means of getting into the habitual state of one-pointedness of mind. One-pointedness is attained when the memory becomes permanently established.

A short history or topic on the developmental journey of the soul. I agree with the validity to this position. It is also known in the Vedic tradition that the Souls transmigrational return to the physical world when Karma/Dharma suggests soul does make its return to finish learning its karma. This is one of the values of reincarnation I hold and understand which speaks wholeness, on the one hand, offer one in the many that is absolute, on the other. There are NO MISTAKES given and alludes to that within the Universal law of consciousness, the Soul is ONE; memories are many. These elements or aspects hold that one can assume parts of a personality and character which is related to one’s memory (Smrti-consciousness) in various circumstances which were once a past life experience and continues to reveal its memories based on this ‘truth’ of transmigration of the Soul. There is No Mistake in Transmigration of the Soul that is real and takes on various forms or facets of our personalities/character due to past life experiences; whether male or female or both…or whatever! The Soul gives itself the ability to transform karma through a process that is fitting and from lifetime after lifetime, learns to develop with each lifetime of experiences that are brought over from many lifetimes ago or recent, until it has accomplished its goal; in reuniting with the absolute ONE in Creator/God; such is the case of Juda Iscariot.

Case in point! The example below offers us a look at the reality of reincarnation in that many souls in our [World] history have had interesting positions in life at the time of Lord Jesus. The link below speaks to the reincarnated soul of Judas Iscariot; the disciple who offered Jesus up for money. Apparently, he had been reborn into experiences that tied him to lust for money. Judas had many difficult lifetimes since his time with Jesus, but with the Blessings of Lord Jesus ‘called’ him to return to the ‘path.’

Please see the segment that speaks to Judas return to the ‘path,’ below. So, there is hope…
