Element to the journey brought me to the realization to my particular path.
In short, when I was 5 years old, I had a near death experience enabling me to deepen my ‘near life processes.’ In religious life, I came to unfold and then to utilize an effective pastoral and spiritual caring for the terminally ill, those in life’s transition. Moreover, and because of my personal experience in ‘dying’ came to realize that most in academia, secular or religious, are not thinking of near death experience (NDE) for ministry. Thus, I wish to offer a personal and grateful acknowledgement to pastoral and spiritual care persons who have taught me by their lives that one can come to wholeness, and because of going through experiences, which could have led toward personal disintegration, and instead moved one toward transformation and freedom to be for others in effective ministry.
