Once again, I would like to ask you, have you ever known a time when you were not? Or, felt you hand a [Peak Experience] and did not know it?
Blossoming into Awareness: Life Review – Part Two
When one engages in self-dialogue, one can experience an inner healing process that reduces obstructions and relieves physiological, emotional, and spiritual disturbances. This process opens a deeper level of consciousness, which can affect both physiological and psychological healing paths, leading to the awakening of higher consciousness.
As a lifelong practitioner of empathic listening, I have appreciated the research for inner cosmic knowledge integrated within the inner search for consciousness, my own via [Self-inquiry]. The aspects of the three Trinities in Hinduism, they are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, the [Trimurtis] that of divine nature allude to the related qualities bring the questions that are important to recall, namely, the three aspects related to human consciousness and integral aspects of the three gunas, the most subtle and core potential of nature or qualities of nature that underlie life, matter, and mind (consciousness).
What is the relationship between the three gunas or elements?
–Brahma the Creator, the three gunas, (Sattva), Intelligence, Truth, balance, mind, and consciousness; Vishnu the transcendent and Sustainer (Rajas), transcends time and space, action; energy, causes imbalance; and Shiva, the Destroyer (Tamas) transformer relates to Kali, the dark goddess of death and rebirth; .creates inertia.
How can one engage in self-dialogue to experience inner healing and reduce obstructions?
Based on the ancient fundamental metaphysical principles and teachings of the Vedic sciences, the Hindu tradition alludes to an integral state of consciousness, direct knowing inner states of coherence.
Nature expresses infinite silence through dynamic action, as evidenced by sequential unfoldment and unbounded potentiality. The inner knowing hears the reverberations of the soul sound/Soham mantra through the ear channel, which enables the body to maintain its balance of well-being.
Furthermore, the unstruck melody can be heard through the ear of the heart, which is of utmost importance. Similarly, human consciousness blossoms in the same way, and we gain direct knowledge through Self-inquiry.
As one progresses through the process of self-individuation, they undergo a metamorphosis towards transformation. This transformation can lead to the individual’s dharmic pattern merging into life, acting as a guiding light for others to witness the essence of nature as pure Self on the journey.
Before my birth, I was experiencing a spiritual and cosmic awakening, leading to a process of discernment. The process of my emotional and spiritual development began at birth, and I naturally expressed myself in numerous ways. For instance, I attempted to communicate with relatives just a few weeks after being born, and I talked to invisible entities. This behavior was normal for me.
How does this occur? Allow me to explain.
There exist two natures or elements – the Purusha, which refers to consciousness or the primordial divine nature, and Prakriti, which refers to Buddhi/Mind, the subtlest attribute producing Maya. From the essential elements of Buddhi, which are also related to psychological and emotional values, the three gunas evolve; Sattva (electron), Rajas (Proton), and Tamas (Neutral) gunas, which refer to equanimity, activity, and inactivity, respectively. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, respectively, are associated with these three gunas.
When the soul becomes dependent on matter and gets veiled by the physical mundane world, it immediately forgets its true nature, which is Self-pure consciousness. The purpose of our existence is to recall our true nature. This is why we incarnate life after life until we have exhausted all karmic patterns to become free from dualities.
As per the belief, when children are born, they come with a new set of memories from their previous life and arrive on this planet with a pure heart and a blank mind. However, as they grow up, they tend to forget their identity and the clarity they once had.
In this narrative, I will share how I realized that I was forgetting the fundamental aspect of Self, which is the purity of being. However, I had to go through some developing years to come to this realization. I learned that life is a journey of integration. I reflected on my truth and discovered that the nature of the Self is a combination of two values: the Universal and the mundane.
Universal refers to the Cosmic Source, which is the highest station of mind or Chit consciousness. It reflects within and reveals the wholeness of being or non-duality (Advaita), which is indivisible in the way of Vedanta (Samkhya Yoga). Its systems of integration relate to wholeness on the move.
The Mundane, on the other hand, is experienced in the physical world. It is the essential nature of aspects or attributes that I have alluded to previously. The dilemma for us is to understand the inner workings of self-realization. It is based on how we perceive the value of non-separation of self, our state of consciousness, and the divine and mundane experiences, that the gunas allow to balance our consciousness.
As a seeker and devotee, I have clarity in perceiving the cosmic source manifest through direct knowledge via the direct experiential creative intelligence that is the pure nature of the Self within.
Ego is the subjective principle that arises from the evolution of nature or from God’s Karmas, as Swami Muktananda coined it. Everything in this world is bound by duality; light and dark, day and night, happiness, and misery, love, and hate. However, everything has individuality linked to Universality. Matter and the soul reflect our spirituality is reflected by body, mind, and intellect. The individual soul shadows the ego. Reflection exists because the soul evolves continually, repeatedly until the mind stuff fades away, causing grief, sorrows, highs, and lows. That is why we are reincarnating in this play or (Leela) until all karmas become purified and merge into one Divine Ocean of ‘Bliss.’
This personal narrative is about my study and research on the unity of consciousness of the self. I experienced various levels of development before the formation and functioning of my ego body. I became aware of a perceived knowing that stems from a cosmic source or Divine Law, leading to a state of non-cognitive (Asamprajnyata) without discernment of a cognitive process. As a result, my relationship with the Divine order came into play. Eventually, I became aware of a cognitive (Samprajnata) element that began to respond to this personal ‘call.’ However, as one grows into the physical world, memories of the Heavenly One fade away after seven years of age. Despite this, I continued to experience extrasensory perception intermittently or (siddhis) as I grew into this life.
I have gained a deep understanding of the flow of the universe, which has led me to approach Vedic Literature more systematically. By aligning with its vibrations (Vritti consciousness), I can tap into a cosmic memory (Smriti consciousness). Additionally, I use the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali to identify ancient elements and attributes of consciousness that can aid in self-transformation through Discriminative Knowledge (meditation) via; [Iccha, jnana, and Kriya Shakti yoga].
Through my life-long journey of self-discovery, I have encountered various stages that have helped me understand and differentiate between them. As I delved deeper into my consciousness, I discovered elements that contributed to my understanding of the workings of the mind. This process has enabled me to integrate the fundamental aspects of cosmic consciousness, which has allowed me to harness self-actualization and become fully awakened to awareness.
The Suppression of all Mind Modification or (Mental Behavioral Modification).
The practice of mapping one’s pathway in life takes some effort. That means we must start from nothing, as it were, clearing out any aspects to mind daily. The object is to focus daily on one’s concentration to self-referral consciousness that one comes to know the totality of being, where ego begins to fade away and one is the higher mind, similarly, to purifying butter that turns into ghee, evaporating the fat from within.
The first step: How we perceive the nature of being by way of making the steps count and simplify the effort to Self-inquiry. The beginning process will help us come to understand the personal narrative more quickly, where the real Self starts to appear. This will bring the sojourner to experience absolute peace and coherence to an inner awareness of one’s emotional and spiritual continuity of life.
Second, to experience the purification of the ego body and to know its dissolving latent impression allows one to merge the mind into the Self, pure consciousness. The third element is to experience aspects of life needing to be addressed by way of one’s practice (Sadhana) integrating the very nature of Being/Essence one comes to know. From here we come to know the fundamentals to aspect to know self-systemic elements to live one’s truth, from the level that is pure consciousness. We begin to discern the values of the two natures described. This is the beginning of our road map to follow the ‘Road Less Traveled.’
